The Hartland Group Business Cards

The business card design for this client was done following a refresh of their logo. They requested the images to be in black and white, and were interested in using high quality printing finishes. We used gold foil stamping in different locations on the cards to pull in the gold from their logo, and a thick silk laminated card stock for a very elegant feel. Soon after we completed the cards, we also designed some real estate signage with the same angled branding.

BUSINESS CARD DESIGN

Business cards should represent you and your brand and not end up just another piece of paper that will get discarded. To create a strong business card design, you will first need a strong logo design. If you do not yet have a logo, or think it may be time for a logo redesign, contact us for a quote. Many times multiple projects can be done at once for a package discount!

Before any design work can be done for your business card, there is a business card design consultation. This can be done via phone, email, Skype, or even text message! The purpose of the consultation is to get clear on what information the business card needs to include, how many versions you need set up (multiple employees, generic, etc.), how you plan to print them (will you handle printing, or us?) and what type of stock or finish you want or are open to, and whatever else may be relevant to your needs so that we can get a good grasp of what you are hoping to achieve with your business card design project.

After we have a clear idea of what your business card design needs are, we can give you an official quote. (Estimate pricing on popular graphic design projects can be found here.) If you are interested in letting us handle the printing of the business cards, we can provide a preliminary estimate on printing as well. Only 50% of the quote total is due to begin your business card design project. Included in your business card design project is 2 different card concepts (front/back for both), and 3 edit rounds. Once the down payment is received, you can expect to have your initial business card concepts emailed within 7-10 days. From that point we can edit and adjust the concepts as needed to reach your final approved business card design. You will want to provide any and all feedback you can all at once to make the overall process much quicker and avoid going over the 3 edit rounds.

Once you have approved your business card design and the final payment has been made your final print-ready business card file will be emailed to you. If you will be handling your own printing needs, the file will be set up per your specifications. If you are interested in letting us handle the printing for you, a final printing quote will be sent once the final design is approved.
